italian for The End

Super funny Street performers in Florence

Do you want to know what my very favorite part of this whole vacation was?

(Did I hear someone say food? Close, but no. Incredible sights, history, and art? Very close, but no. Getting a break from grocery-shopping, dish-doing, stroller-pushing, gross-stuff-wiping? No, but it was really nice. Any other guesses? Okay, I'll just tell you.)

Being with my boyfriend 24 hours a day for 18 days (awww). It was the greatest of great trips. And then getting back home to my babies just made the whole world a perfect place: Eli running into my arms and yelling, "Mommy!" Snuggs with Audrie all night long. It made me grateful I get to do my day-to-day with these three people. I love them a whole whole lot!

Great memories of an amazing vacation,
and a good little life to come home to.

Fine.

  1. I'm so happy that you went. Because honestly, what wife of a med student couldn't use an awesome vacation to spend with just their hubby? And I remain totally and completely jealous. I want to come next time.

  10. WOW!! What an amazing trip!! I have so many questions for you!! I'm going to London, Rome and Florance on Setp.11. You got me REALLY excited! Esp. the food and gelato:)

So...you liked Florance? Say I have 1 day there...what would you do?

    Shoes...what did you wear?

Any place I MUST go and eat in Florance/Rome??

    Now to answer your questions:)
I got the little cups (and mini spoons that I didn't show) at a restaurant supply shop...it was by Wendy's old apt.
